Most of our tuning is initially done without a meter. We will then make small adjustments utilizing a meter in order to reach our desired voltage, and to check speed, duty cycle, etc.
We generally view meters as we view all technology, it serves a purpose to some degree, however, if it disappeared tomorrow we would get by just fine.
